A Combat Logistics Battalion 22 Marine explores the Virtual Battle Space 1 (VBS1), which is the program that sets the stage for the Deployable Virtual Training Environment (DVTE), aboard the USS Gunston Hall, Sept. 5, 2007. The Marines used the DVTE to practice convoy procedures and enhance communication practices in an environment where traditional convoy exercises would be impossible.
