During a post and relief ceremony aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Col. Kenneth F. McKenzie Jr., left, commanding officer of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), passes a non-commissioned officer's sword to Sgt. Maj. Steven R. Head, the unit's new senior enlisted Marine. In the background is Sgt. Maj. George H. Mason, who relinquished the post he has held since Nov. 2002, and will soon become the sergeant major of the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
