Marines with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) unload recently uncovered artillery shells during Operation Koa Canyon (Wadi Aljundi) Jan. 20. The operation has uncovered thousands of various types of weapons and explosives stored in numerous insurgent weapons caches along the Euphrates River. The 22nd MEU (SOC) is conducting counterinsurgency operations with an Iraqi infantry battalion in Al Anbar province.
