Lance Cpl Joseph Rizzo, of Btty. B, 1st Bn. 10th Marines regiment, attached to Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Bn. 8th Marines, wards off an attacker after being sprayed with a hefty dose of oleoresin capsicum (OC) during a Non-Lethal Tactical and Training exercise held at the Special Operations Training Group camp grounds aboard March 7, 2007. “The Marines need to know what it feels like when OC sprayed 0n them before they actually go out and deploy it on someone else,” said Sergeant Owen Wood, the lead instructor for the Military Operations Other than War course.
