Sergeant Quincy D. Pratt, a Washington D.C. native and 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) Command Element fiscal chief, holds his M16-A2 assault rifle at the ready while attending the Personal Security Detachment training course near Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Sept. 20, 2007. The three-day course taught 24 Command Element Marines the basics of convoy operations, military operations in urban terrain, and squad infantry tactics. The 22nd MEU(SOC) is currently on a scheduled deployment serving as the theater reserve for the Central Command area of operations.
