Sgt. Maj. of the Marine Corps Carlton W. Kent addresses a meeting of more than 200 Marines aboard Camp Fallujah, Iraq, September 23. Among the topics Kent addressed were changes to the Body Composition Program, the proposed running suit and retention of first-term Marines. The latter he described as being crucial to the multi-year plan to swell the Corps' ranks from 187,000 to more than 210,000. Kent is the 16th Marine to hold the Corps' top enlisted position.
