Cpl. Joshua T. Bavender, a 20 year-old satellite communications specialist with Lima Company, Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, from Idaho Springs, Colo., communicates with the headquarters element during a helicopter-raid training event aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 17, 2008. Bavender, who has been in the Marine Corps for two and a half years, is part of the Helo Company for the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit.
