Mike Hallahan, the president of the USS Intrepid Association of Former Crew Members, his daughter, and Vice Adm. Mel Williams Jr., Commander U.S. Second Fleet, cut the ribbon at the re-opening of the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum at Pier 86 on the Hudson River in New York, Nov. 8, 2008. The museum was closed, dry-docked and then returned to its original home at Pier 86 after two years of refurbishing. Marines from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit were in New York to provide support for Veterans Day and the re-opening of the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. (Official Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
