Lance Cpl. Matt Bradford is supported by a fellow Marine while being recognized during the Veterans Day ceremony Nov. 11, 2008, on Pier 86 in New York, home of the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. Bradford was on patrol this year in Iraq when he was hit by an improvised explosive device. He lost his legs, suffered severe injuries on his arms and was blinded.
