Merle Nay, a fire inspector for the Camp Lejeune Fire Department, inspects the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit's fire alarm system aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 28, 2010. Fire department members inspect each building on base yearly and check schools and day care services monthly. The 22nd MEU must conduct a fire drill annually in order to meet training requirements. It is important that Marines read and understand their building's fire bill posted above the fire alarms in case of an emergency.
