Lance Cpl. Aaron M. Beck, a personnel clerk with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit and West Palm Beach, Fla., native, participates in the ammo lift portion of the Combat Fitness Test aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 16, 2010. The CFT incorporates two other physical elements, movement to contact, an 880-yard sprint, and maneuver under fire, designed to simulate situations Marines may face in combat. This marks the second year the MEU participated in the CFT after Headquarters Marine Corps implemented it as an annual training requirement for every Marine.
