Corporal Michael J. Edes, a data network operator with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit and Plainview, Ill., native, loosens a cargo tie-down strap from a 7-ton truck aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Sept. 16, 2010. The 7-ton transported an 805A generator out to Operations Point 2 for a 22nd MEU communication exercise. The exercise was designed to give the Marines hands on training in a field environment for a future deployment in which the equipment may be used.
