An MV-22B Osprey, with Marine Medium Tilt Rotor Squadron (VMM) 263 (Reinforced), 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), hovers over an AV-8B engine container aboard Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Wally Schirra (T-AKE 8) while U.S. Marines from with the Helicopter Support Team with Combat Logistics Battalion (CLB) 22, 22nd MEU fasten straps to the Osprey during the first external lift in support of a vertical replenishment for the aircraft, Aug. 22, 2011. The 22nd MEU is currently deployed as part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group (BATARG) as the U.S. Central Command theater reserve force, also providing support for maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
